Matt Steinglass has been reporting from Vietnam since 2003. He has served as Hanoi correspondent for the German news agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur’s English-language wire service, as a Hanoi-based stringer for the Boston Globe, and as a freelance Vietnam correspondent for the Voice of America. He has also worked from West Africa and the Netherlands. His articles have appeared in the Washington Post and The New York Times, among other publications.
