Pär Nuder
Former Minister of Finance, Stockholm

Pär Nuder began his political career as an advisor in the Ministry of Justice in 1986. He was political advisor to Prime Ministers Ingvar Carlsson and Göran Persson, before assuming the post of a State Secretary and Chief of Staff from 1997-2002. He was Minister for Policy Coordination from 2002-04, Minister for Culture in 2004, and Minister of Finance from 2004-06. In 2007, he was a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University’s Centre for European Studies. In addition to being a member of the Swedish Parliament, Pär Nuder is also a member of the General Council of the central bank of Sweden, the Riksbank, and the executive board of Sweden’s Social Democratic Party.
