Sixten Korkman

Sixten Korkman has previously worked as director general of the economic department of the Ministry of Finance, and as director general (directorate for economic and social affairs) at the secretariat of the Council of the European Union. He is an economist, with a doctoral degree from the University of Helsinki, and has written extensively on economic policy issues, including the book, “Economic Policy in the European Union” (Palgrave Macmillan, 2005).
