Timothy Molefe Modise is the presenter of “AM Live”, a current affairs programme on SAfm, the SABC’s national English-language public radio station. He was the television anchor for South Africa’s election debates in 2009, a function he already held in 2004, 1999 and 1994. From 1997 to 2002, he was host of the award-winning current affairs programme “Carte Blanche” on MNET. The presenter of his own radio talk show on Talk Radio 702 and Cape Talk 567 from 2003-07, he was also a columnist for The Sowetan (2007-08) and City Press (1997-99). In 2007-08, he was the Chief Marketing Officer of the Local Organizing Committee of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
